All television shows (and one movie) reviewed on this site are rated on a six-point scale: 6 being the best and 1 being the worst.  Why six?  It's rather simple, actually.  There are three general types of shows: good ones, okay ones, and crappy ones.  These are broken down further into "good" and "not as good".  So, for example, a rating of 4 would indicate that the show is slightly better than average, or a rating of 2 is akin to "this really sucks, but not as badly as The Rebirth".  If there's any confusion as to the meaning of the numbers, each series has its own tailor-made description next to each rating for clarification.

How are these ratings determined when one is reviewing an episode?  Okay, so the title is a misnomer -- there's no real "system" per se.

Armada Ratings

6 - Is that a Mini-Con on your Power-linx, or are you just happy to see me?
5 - Mullet!  Mullet!  Mullet!
4 - This episode is like Starscream's legs: straighforward, unassuming, and incapable of lateral movement.
3 - "Rad"?  I don't think so...
2 - Where's Wheelie?  Writing this show, that's where... 
1 - jAM!!11 

Beast Machines Ratings

6 - Knee-pit!
5 - Better than a ham sandwich!
4 - It's like warm apple pie
3 - At least there wasn't any Brooklyn slang
2 - The best part of the episode was Nightscream's robot form
1 - It sucks.  It sucks big floppy donkey dick

Beast Wars Ratings

6 - I want this episode to bear my children
5 - Kicks more ass than Rhinox doing a "Woo"
4 - Neater than Mark Sumer's rug fringe
3 - <hungry>: TALK FOR YOU!
2 - Worse plot device than the TransMetal 2 driver
1 - MONKEY! >splat<

6 - All that was missing was the G.I. Joe cross-over
5 - Wow!  There was a plot!
4 - Ah, the warm fuzzies of childhood...
3 - At least Wheelie wasn't in it.
2 - Carnage in C-Minor looks like genius compared to this
1 - Light our darkest hour... PLEASE!

Robots in Disguise Ratings

6 - Prime!  Tell them who their daddy is!  Prime - "I'm your daddy"
5 - 42' 3"?  That's impressive!
4 - I'll be happy so long as they never use the "Power Thrust" again
3 - Thank Primus they didn't resurrect Wheelie
2 - This all goes back to Optimus Prime's fetish for small boys
