Update
Transformers BOoG@LOo! TRANSFORMERS BOOG@LOO!
  • 25 July 2002 - Well, it's BotCon time again, which means it's time for regret.  I promised a lot but delivered almost none of it.  BotCon 2001 Day 3 is still not done.  Trae and I didn't get Beast Machines: Lost Episodes done (only three episodes left!  But that is a whole other story unto itself...), which precludes our "special edition" for this year.  I didn't get a working demo of my video game done.  Just not enough hours and not enough days.  BUT, I do promise that this year's BotCon coverage will not take most of a year before it has seen completion.  Nooo...  I won't say that I'll be updating at the convention since I usually find that by the time I get back to my room I'm too damned tired to do anything but rest up for the next day.  And if I get to go to Ultrazone, I'll be very tired indeed.  So, for those of you staying at home this year, please drop in tomorrow anyway.  Maybe I'll have a little surprise...
  • 18 July 2002 - Where's Wheelie is over.  It's OVER! :p
  • 15 July 2002 - The Where's Wheelie contest begins!
  • 14 July 2002 - A review for Armada Megatron is up.  Get this bad boy if you see him.  I wish that Ultras were still only $20, but $25 is pretty good.  And look out for any of the new Masters of the Universe figures.  I got Skeletor, and he is bad-ASS!
  • 13 July 2002 - An Armada rumor confirmed today, but more imporantly, there's another big, multi-part rumor up in the Feature page.  Yup, is seems like someone got to talking to someone, and that second someone had a LOT to say about the recent acquisition of film rights by an unknown party...
  • 10 July 2002 - Armada is here!  Reviews are in for Cyclonus, Demolishor, the Street Action Mini-Cons, the Land Military Mini-Cons, and the Air Defense Mini-Cons, and they are... mixed.  I guess there's a review up for Hot Shot as well, if you can call a declaration of disappointment and an unwillingness to open the thing and be angered by its crappiness a review.  I'll give it a day.  We'll see if we change my mind.  And a shout out to the dude at KB who was working the register.  Hope you like the site.
  • 4 July 2002 - Long overdue -- Reviews and Synopses are up in the G1 Season 1 section for Episode 5, Episode 6, Episode 7, Episode 8, Episode 9, and Episode 10.  Also today begins The Road to BotCon 2002.  I'm going to gear several updates (and the pioneering of several new sections) towards things related to BotCon 2002, including reviews of the new Dreamwave G1 comics, some new Articles / Rants, you get the idea.  This BotCon is a generation-spanning one.  I don't want you kids without being armed with the necessary knowledge.  Hence the sudden G1 update.  There's more where that came from, I assure you.  Have a happy 4th, everyone!
  • 3 July 2002 - This might seem strange, but I've spent the last few hours going through the site and compressing images, mostly in the gallery.  The images make up the biggest percentage of the site's traffic, and as such use the most bandwidth.  Now, we're not having any bandwidth issues as of yet, but there's no harm in solving the problem before we have it, right?  While the gallery now takes up about 1/4 the space it used to, the images still look brilliant (the ones that DID look brilliant, anyhow).  I was very careful when doing this, so any compression artifacts in the images are almost completely unnoticeable.  The Macromasters images were also compressed, but only by about half.  These are big images to begin with, and they were compressed pretty well before.  But even cutting these in half will save everyone some time.  So, the site's going to load faster now.  Hope everyone likes it!
  • 2 July 2002 - Transfandom 2.0 is now operational, and we're linked up!  There will be a image on the side of this page and several other high-traffic pages.  Click it and rate this site!  5 is the best, so just keep that in mind. ;)
  • 1 July 2002 - Review for Air Attack Optimus Primal is finally up.  I know, I know, it's been a couple of weeks since his release and since I got him.  I'm lazy that way.  Or maybe I had more pressing matters to attend to.  Well, not really.  I just couldn't bring myself to put down the Big Bad Buddha Monkey.  I love this guy.
