Cartoon Network
With last year's Turner reorganization, Kids' WB! and Cartoon Network became
more like sister networks, Kids' WB! being the favored one. Cartoon
Network's popular Toonami block, which continually beats MTV's TRL in
teenagers, was shortened from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM, to 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A
Kids' WB! version was launched this past season, however, it is being
discontinued this summer. As a result, Toonami will expand once again to
three hours. The block will also air new series, "Transformers:
Armada," "He- Man: Masters of the Universe," "G-Gundam"
and "Big O 2."
You know, this is so good on so many levels. Yes, this means that
university students everywhere will be wailing in despair as I suspect many
campuses do not offer Cartoon Network on campus cable. I guess that
means you kids will be coming here a lot, eh? Ah, the joys of living in
an apartment...
