Details On 'Armada' Plot Begin to Emerge!
26.01.02 - TheOrange

Thanks to Rhinox42 at the The AllSpark we have the following news to report about Armada, taken from Wizard Magazine:

"Set in the Transformers continuity shortly after the classic series, the line known as Armada will feature both old and new Transformers, as both the Autobot and Decepticons duke it out over a mysterious race of pint-sized Transformers known as Minicons.

The new toy line should hit stores this summer at the same time as the armada comic mini-series from pat lee at dreamwave productions. Taking a nod from the Headmasters and Targetmasters Transformers lines of the late 1980s, the Minicons of Armada will be miniature Transformers that will connect with their larger hosts. However unlike previous lines, these attachments will be more than aesthetic enhancements. The connection will actually play an integral role in the toy's action features. On the comics side of things, Dreamwave will be fairly involved with the project, providing packaging art, insert cards, as well as exclusive mini-comics.

Coinciding with the release of the ongoing comic series, this fall will also see the debut of the all new Armada animated TV series. The art style for armada represents a bit of a departure from the heavy anime of recent Robots in Disguise and computer generated Beast Wars shows. Instead, the new series look is more reminiscent iif the Japanese/American hybrid style of the original Transformers cartoon from the mid '80s."

Britney Spears Declared 'World's Most Famous Virgin'
08.01.02 - TheOrange

Religion and pop culture collide again.  Just a few days ago it was revealed that more people knew about Britney Spears than Mary Mother of Jesus, replacing the Holy Mother as the world's more recognized virgin.  This was a stun to Mary, who when questioned about the results of the poll said "I didn't see this coming, not in 3000 years".  This is perhaps the most serious sacrilegious claim that the music industry has made since John Lennon declared that the Beatles were more popular than Jesus.

The news also came as a shock to Britney, who had earlier admitted in a backstage candid moment that she and her boyfriend Justin Timberlake were having "great sex".

The Virgin Mary was then quoted as saying that when "my son comes again, the young harlot shall taste the wrath of the Almighty God".

Looks like He won't be the only one coming again...

Robert Jung Presents the 2001 Trannies!
07.01.02 - TheOrange

It's that time again.  That's right, the Trannies are once again upon us.  What this means, of course, is that you only have until January 31st to vote for the Lost Episodes as your favorite fanfiction!  Pick any episode from season 2 (conveniently, there's a new episode just two news stories down)!  Pick the whole darn thing if you're feeling saucy.  Or, if you hate us and want to spite us, pick something else!  But remeber, if you don't vote for the Lost Episodes it'll make Phil cry.

We recommend heading over there yourself, but if you're really lazy we've copied this little excerpt from his site;

Defying all sense of logic and sanity, Robert is pleased to announce that voting for The 2001 Trannies is now underway! Read the instructions, fill out a ballot, then send it in by JANUARY 31, 2002!

Don't delay!  You only have three weeks left!

The Misadventures of Phil Bond: You Only Phil Twice
07.01.02 - TheOrange

We last left Phil glowing in the victory of his defeat over Daler Mehndi, but little did he know that he was being watched... by the REAL Phil Bond! Now Phil has come back to the Agency to replace Phil, and Phil's not the least bit happy about it. But what else has Phil brought with him to the Agency? Who is the Hooded Stranger, and who sent the Conveniently Shadowed Figure to help Phil in his last misadventure? And what the hell was the deal with that talking car? There's only one way to find out, and it ain't gonna be pretty...

Beast Machines: The Lost Episodes, Episode 21 - Warriors of Desirable Quality
07.01.02 - TheOrange

>coughs<

And you thought Beast Machines was over. Well, it is. Kinda. Well, it really truly is, but that doesn't stop the Lost Episodes! The final installment of Act 5 is finally complete! There's no way I can describe this without making it sound like some fanboy's wet dream, but suffice to say it'll knock your socks off and make you look at the Lost Episodes, if not Beast Machines itself, in a whole new light!

Either that, or you'll look at it in the same old light you always did, and say, "Man, it's really dark in here." Good enough? I think so. And 4 out of 5 Bob Skirs agree that it's nothing like Spark War part 3! We promise!
